From June to September, during the drier seasons. But we were there in march and had a great time all the same. Monsoon rains arrive in October and stays till early January.

Electricity & water
Supplies power throughout the day. 240V There is constant water supply, but hot water is not available.
Telecommunication
There are no phone lines in the village area. The nearest phone is at Felda Chini where the main bus station is situated. However, there is a phone at Tasik Chini Resort.
Bank facilities, moneychanger
None. Good banking facilities in Kuantan, Temerloh. The chalet operators take only cash.
Shop
There is a small sundry shop run by a chinese man just round the corner from the Kijang Mas Gumum chalets where cigarettes, sweets, crisps, tissues, toothpaste and other basic items are sold.
Photo Developing
Bring your own films and a spare set of batteries. Develop your photos only when you get to the next nearest large town eg Kuantan
Food and restaurant
The menu is limited but they do serve pretty good fried rice. There are pancakes available. And if not too hungry, they serve instant noodles too. Soft drinks are available and the hot lemon tea is very nice.
