After Breakfast we pick you up from your Hotel Lobby in Miri and proceed to Long Bedian by 4WD. Long Bedian is located up the Apoh Tutoh Region of Baram District with 90% are Kayan population. It has approximately 200 houses (including longhouse) located within this village. Beside traveling on the 4hrs off-road, the main highlight of this trip will be its Culture. As of today, you still able to see the last batch of elderly Kayan women distinguishable by tattoo's on their hands and legs. To the women, this is considered a form of feminine beauty during their youth days The elderly man wear leopard's teeth through the perforation and the women wear heavy brass earrings through their earlobes in order to extend them. Another highlight in Long Bedian is the Penan. You can easily spot them at the Long Bedian Township in the morning, where they have travel all the way from their settlement to sell their products like handicrafts/wild meat and also to get medical treatment for their families from the government rural clinic. If you wanted to experience a day with this semi-nomadic tribe of Sarawak, the nearest Penan village is just about 15 – 20mins away from Long Bedian by 4WD. We stop at Long Lama for Lunch before proceeding to Long Bedian. 1400hrs check in Homestay. 1500hrs A guided walk around the villages where you you will be brief of the village history. Dinner is serve by our Host Family. After dinner, we will be entaertain by the graceful Kayan Dancers where by you are invited to perform with them too. Overnight (B/L/D)
0700hrs Breakfast. 0800hrs we depart Lg Bedian by 4wd to Long Terawan. Journey is about 2hrs to Long Terawan Long House (The Berawan Ethnic group) from here we will take the long boat goind up river to Mulu National Park. Journey takes about 1hr to 11/2hrs or it can be more then that ,depending very much on water level. Check in at accommodation. Lunch at Park restaurant. 140hrs we depart for Deer and Lang Caves. Weather permit we stay to watch the millions of bats flying out of the Deer Cave for their night feeding foray. 1800hrs we return to the Park and transfer to our accommodation. (B/L)
0800hhrs we depart by longboat to Wind and Clearwater caves with a stop over at the Penan settlement. Explore both wind and Clearwater Caves. Picnic Lunch will be provided at Clearwater Platform. After lunch, take a swim and enjoy the Clearwater pool. Return to Park Chalet. The rest of the day is at your own free time. (L)
Breakfast. Free till you transfer to Mulu airport for your flight out. End of service.

CANCELLATIONS, PARTIAL CANCELLATIONS, “NO SHOW” AND AMENDMENTS CHARGES
- Services providers such as hotels, carriers, restaurant contractors or any other companies related to the services provided may charge cancellations, amendments and/or no show fees. our travel operator cannot be held responsible for charges incurred due to unforeseen circumstances.
In the event of a confirmed booking being cancelled, cancellation charges will be levied. Cancellation charges - Days before Arrival Date
a. Less than 45 business days 10% of total invoice
b. Less than 30 business days 25% of total invoice
c. Less than 15 business day 50% of total invoice
d. Less than 24hrs or No Show 100% of total invoice.
In the event a client is a “No Show”, no refund in full or in part will be given for services in the program not utilised.
- After start of tour, no refund, in full or in part will be given for any services not utilized.
Unless otherwise specified in the tariff, a child under the age of 12 years occupying the same room as his/her parents using existing bedding is usually accommodated free of charge, except where a child supplement is stated.
In the case of tours and excursions, child rate is 75% of adult rates for tours inclusive of meals and accommodation. The child rate is based on the sharing of a twin room with 2 adults. An extra bed will be provided for the child in this twin room.
For transfers and day tours (without meals) child rate will be 50% of adult rates. An infant is defined as an individual up to 2 years old. A child is defined as an individual above the 2 years old and below 12 years old.
