The iconic KL Twin Towers is one of the most photographed buildings in the world. The towers are beautifully lit up every night. However for those wanting to take pics of the building , please be warned that the lights go out at midnight. The towers is known as Petronas Twin Towers and houses the main corporate headquarters of Petronas , Malaysia's Oil Company. The 88 floor towers is designed by Argentine architects and under the consultancy of Julius Gold. Petronas Towers were completed in 1998 after a seven year build and became the tallest buildings in the world on the date of completion. The buildings is also annexed to a jogging and recreational park , the KL City Centre Convention Centre and also the KL Aquaria.
This large piece of land used to be KL's race course where large mansions lined the periphery of the course. Today, tall apartment skyscrapers have sprouted round the circumference and more is being built. more...

‘Nature and environment outside the jungle’ An educational tour of nature and environment outside the jungle. Orchid Garden – see over 800 varieties of orchid including the exotic species, thrive abundantly on one hectare of floral paradise. ‘Back to nature’ The tour will expose you to the real feeling of being in the tropical rainforest of Malaysia, a guided tour by an expert on Malaysian jungle. This specially designed program is to introduce you to the wonders and the beauty of a primary tropical rainforest all in a day while staying in Kuala Lumpur. The journey to the tropical rainforest in the outskirts of the city, will take approximately an hour. ‘Fun and educational’ We begin our tour with National Zoo, the largest zoo in Malaysia and situated just outside the city limits and yet a world away from its hustle and bustle. Located 13 km northeast of Kuala Lumpur, the National Zoo houses some 200 species of animal, bird and reptiles, while the aquarium has 80 species of marine and fresh-water life. Within the extensive grounds is an area for sea lions where visitors can see them being most active during feeding time. Next, proceed to the Royal Selangor factory where upon arrival, you will be taken for a tour of the Pewter Gallery. The Gallery offers a host of interactive displays and fascinating exhibits, aimed at educating and titillating the sense. From the Gallery, we continue with the highlight of today’s tour – ‘School of Hard Knocks’. ‘An adventurous outing’ The journey takes approximately 1 hour 45 minutes. Kuala Gandah Elephant conservation was established in 1989 by the Department of Wildlife and National Parks. The center is a base for the Elephant Relocation Team, which began the elephant translocation programme in 1974. The only one of its kind in Malaysia, the team is dedicated to locating, subduing and then translocating problem elephants from areas where their habitats are constantly being encroached by plantations and to other suitable habitats throughout the Peninsular such as Taman Negara. Over the past 25 yrs the centre has helped prevent the further declined of the elephant population by relocating more than 300 wild elephants. ‘Entire town, including its roads, build on stilts !’ Depart Kuala Lumpur for Port Klang in an hour – Malaysia’s busiest port. The 30 minute ferry ride offers a panoramic view of the busy harbour and the mangrove swamps of nearby islands. On arrival at Pulau Ketam, take a leisurely stroll to see how an entire fishing community lives in a village where even the roads are build on stilts. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, catch the ferry for return trip to Port Klang. Drive up to view the fabulous palace of the Selangor Sultan. Visit the Sultan Salahuddin Mosque, also known as the Blue Mosque. Capped by one of the largest religious domes in the world, the mosque occupies about 36 acres of beautiful parkland surrounded by the Municipal Council Tower, State Library, State Museum and the Lake Gardens.
