P.S. Kancil guesthouse is a little out of the town area but still within walking distance. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean - worth the money spent and sitting in the backyard for breakfast gives that little more competitive edge to a lot of other guest houses found in melaka.

Getting to Kancil - If you reach the Malacca express bus station, walk to Hang Tuah Shopping Complex, take bus no. 17 (45sen) and alight at the Chinese Temple along Jalan Parameswara.
You can also catch a taxi from the local bus station to Kancil, cheaper than from the express bus station. Alternatively, from the bus station, take a 20 minutes walk. If you get lost, call for directions.
