This package includes :
* Meet and greet at Sandakan Hotel lobby in Sabah, Malaysia * 3 nights accommodation in designate accommodation * English speaking facilitator * All activities included in “Project Days” * Conservation Contribution * All overland and river transfers as per itinerary * All meals as per itinerary * Entrance fees to Rainforest Discovery Centre and Sepilok * Group drop-off at Sandakan Airport in Sabah, Malaysia

Programme Objective:
1. Carry out habitat restoration at the Lower Kinabatangan floodplains where flora and fauna are abundant but threatened by diminishing habitat; 2. Conduct wildlife population density data gathering under the auspices of the Sabah Government; 3. Observe and appreciate the orang-utans, pygmy elephants and other endangered species, understand their life cycles and the intricate biodiversity roles;4. To engage local communities in conservation activities; 5. Understand the threats to the habitat and the wildlife and to make a personal impact, bringing positive change

PROJECT DAYS are days where participants will contribute towards conservation via habitat restoration work, observation of wildlife along the river, to collect important wildlife data and through community interaction. Note: Changes to the activities will occur subject to weather conditions, school calendar, community and project requirements. Some or all of the above activities may or may not be included on your itinerary. Other activities not mentioned above may also be included on your itinerary subject to weather conditions, community and project requirements |
