P.S. The Smokehouse with its exposed wooden beams and low ceilings, eclectic mix of furniture and fittings is a favourite with visitors for their afternoon tea and scones. Colonel Forster managed the Smokehouse for a stint before the Lakehouse was built where many famous figures have walked through the entrance or warmed their hands by the fireplace.
Outside sits an old English telephone booth.…

The recent upgrading of the Smokehouse has included many modern amenities such as :

The Main Wing i.e. the original rooms of the Smokehouse now has up to 18 rooms including the Cottage after some re-configuring of the rooms.  All Main Wing Rooms remain in the Suite Category. The New Wing consists of 3 separate buildings with a combined total of up to 11 rooms.  These consist of Suite, Executive and Superior categories. 3 separate buildings are available as Private Villas/Bungalows, housing 3 to 5 rooms each.
