P.S. Basic cooking facilities are provided for the bungalows. Bring your own food to cook. As for the resthouses, guests can order simple meals from the canteen at the main station. There is a general neglect in the condition of the bungalows. So if you're expecting a clean, well-kept, well-stocked accommodation.... well, you're in for a big surprise. Bring absolutely everything .

Next hitch is that if you wish to book in advance, then payment also muct be made to secure bookings. The Resort officer accepts postal orders! However, if you wish to chance it, then just get yourself there and hope for the best. The other thing is that more often than not there are chalets available - just not during festive seasons, school holidays, eve of public holiday and public holidays. Otherwise, just make it a day trip to Maxwell Hill and spend the night in Taiping.
