The island, shaped-like knife, has a beach that stretches up to 2.500 metres. This narrow strip of island is heaven for those looking for some tranquility and away from thrashing fins and mass diving tourism. Unfairly blessed with age-old shipwrecks and critters inhabiting in and around it, the island offers opportunities for visitors to explore.
The island promises the most diverse marine life with visibility up to 40 metres. Many species of rays flutter around like blue spotted ray and marbled sting ray amongst large schools of fish.
Besides that muck diving is excellent with the quiet existence of imperial shirmps, jaw fish ribbon eels, seahorses, pink-eyed gobbles and the jaw-dropping blue ringed octopus, amidst nudibranch of all sorts.
The Mantanani Islands consists of 3 islands; Pulau Mantanani Besar, Pulau Mantanani Kechil and Pulau Lungisan.
These islands provide divers with a wonderful moving scenery in the sea but the islands themselves provide a much needed resting spot or nesting spot for migrating birds as well as resident sea birds. Near Threatened species that has been recorded are the endemic Mantanani Scops-owl Otus mantananensis, Malaysian Plover Charadrius peronii, Nicobar Pigeon Caloenas nicobarica and Blue-naped Parrot Tanygnathus lucionensis as well as the Megapode which has been hunted to near extinction over the past 20yrs.

Things To Note:
* For safety reasons, tour and activities are dependent on SEA & WEATHER CONDITIONS. We reserved the rights to CANCEL or POSTPONE the tour or any activities if we deem there is an absence of a safe operating environment. We monitor closely weather changes through the relevant sources.
* Liability Release Form and Tour Attendance MUST be signed and understood by the participant before the tour commences.
* You might get WET during the boat journey, so please be sure to pack and stow your belongings properly during the journey. Dry bags or plastic bags for waterproofing are recommended.
* Due to the nature of the tour as well as the journey which involves overland and sea transportation, we do not recommend it to anyone who has pre-existing medical conditions (such as pregnancy, hypertension, back pain problem...etc) that will normally preclude him/her from taking part in activities of similar nature. Children below 2 years old is also not encouraged. We reserve the right to refuse service where we deem appropriate.
* We will not be liable for any damage to your belongings caused by exposure to elements of nature such as weather and sea conditions.
* Kindly note that you are responsible for the safe keeping of your belongings at all time. We do not encourage guests bringing along electronic devices, valuables and important documents.
* Please check with us if you have any special dietary request, e.g. vegetarian. We however do not guarantee that we will be able to meet all requests.

* 50% on top of the above rates for Single Supplement / Single Traveller * 50% OFF the above rates for children between the age of 5years - 12years old and FOC for infants (ages 1yr – 4 years old) * The minimum age for a child to do diving is 12 years old and above * The Operator reserves the right to change the venue, cancel or postpone the tour if weather conditions do not permit for safety and comfort of the guests. * 50% of full package payment will be forfeited for cancellation made within 7 days before scheduled arrival into Mantanani * 100% of full package payment will be forfeited if the guest does not turn up on the specified date of the package confirmation * No refunds will be entertained on any part of the package booked once guests have departed from his / her / their hotel * In the event of guests have arrived at Kota Belud jetty and the tour is being cancelled due to bad weather, a transportation fee of 20% of the total package will be imposed

Snorkeling |

This programme is suitable for those who are not very comfortable in the water or has no snorkelling experience. It will allow you to learn snorkelling and some basic safety skills in shallow water before venturing out to deeper water. The programme is divided into 2 sessions: Session 1 Shallow Water Practice (1m-2m) In this section you will be given a safety briefing and do some skill practices in shallow water by our Snorkelling Guide: Introduction and proper use of snorkelling equipments How to breathe through your snorkel How to swim with fins How to clear water from mask & snorkel Safety skills e.g. cramp recovery Resting position Session 2 Snorkelling Adventure (3m 5m) With the skills that you have acquired in Sessions 1, your guide will now take you to your snorkelling adventure in deeper water by boat. Take a guided tour of the Mari-Mari Bridge (our house reef) and the nearby reef. See the rich varieties of underwater lives like clownfish, anemone, colourful table coral, barrel sponges, brain coral, stack horn coral and many others. |

This is important for your safety before your open water dive. |
