Bird Watching at Penang Hill - Penang

Bellevue Hotel on Penang Hill is offering bird watching trips to Tiger Hill, some 2km away from the hotel. Bird watchers will be transported to Tiger Hill and back on buggies. Not only will it be a bird watching tour but it will also be a short introduction to the montane flora which has been given little attention to, until now. There are six species of plants only found on Penang Hill like the Geostachys penangensis ginger, and many others that are hyperendemic to the hill. For the enthusiastic bird watcher, it may be a good idea to stay over at Bellevue Hotel for an early morning start at about 7.30am. For those who prefer a late start to the day, there is a 4.30pm programme that can be arranged
