Itinerary
17:30 - tour starts from Kuala Sungei Pinang, a remote and secluded fishing village at the west coast of Penang Island where you will be introduced to the local community’s way of life and their livelihood, you will also learn about the mangrove ecological system and its importance.
18:15 - Leisure cruise by boat along mangrove waterways, enjoy the peaceful surrounding where you spot the Brahminy Kites eagles’ nests, savour majestic flight of the white-bellied sea eagles, colourful kingfishers & many other mangrove/migratory bird species, monitor lizards sunbathing on shore, being introduced to various mangrove vegetations, meet the local fishermen returning with their catch (fishes, prawns, crabs, etc), beautiful sunset at river mouth with glistering beaches of Penang National Park hailing from afar. Local snacks will be served on board.
