P.S. Redang Reef used to be a resort for divers. The open deck sitting area looks out into the open sea and is very pretty indeed. However, the Reef management has changed that to a disco in the evenings to cater for the growing crowd of young local tourists who prefer to 'pay & party' rather than 'pay & appreciate nature'. Redang Reef seems to be very popular with young locals with a deep affinity for techno music
