Due to recent unfortunate developments, the ferry service is not running as per schedule and has also had a number of daily cancellations for certain boat times. journeymalaysia.com advises our customers to buy ferry tickets in advance to avoid any disappointments on the day of departure.(time taken: 1 1/2hrs)

Closer to the dive outfits is the Salang Indah Resort . Ask to see different chalets with different locations before making your choice. Many of the dive packages offered in the market accomodate their customers at Salang Indah.

Salang Indah Resort was the first accommodation on Salang beach. It has taken up a good size of the beach with 82 roomed chalets , a hideous restaurant , a supermarket and a launderette all sprawling over some acreage or so.

Please note that most resorts will be closed during the monsoon period between mid/end october until early february except for several chalet operators and resorts on ABC , Tekek , Salang and Juara. Boat operators will be running ONCE everyday but the schedule will be largely dependent on the weather. Patience during monsoon season is a must.
