Please be advised : If you have to rush for connecting flights, boat transfers or if you are on a tight schedule , try to exhaust all other transportation possibilities first. Air Asia flights have been known to have frequent delays and sometimes , even cancellations . However, based on our personal experiences with this airline... taking the first flight on the day's schedule is usually the best as there are seldom delays on the first flight out.

Air Asia thrives on no-frills flights to reduce cost which is passed on to passengers. Free seating flights speed up processing time and flight punctuality. The lowest domestic airfares in town!

No in-flight drinks or complimentary meals. Check-in counters open 2hours before flight and closes 45min prior to departure time.

Take Note that Air Asia practices Ticketless travel concept. This is how it works:

1. Book your flight and you will be issued a booking number

2. A flight itinerary with your travel details will be emailed or handed to you after you have made your payment

3. You do not have to bring your flight itinerary with you for Check-In. All you need to remember is your booking number , or mention your name. You must show your identity card for Malaysian residents or passport for foreigners for identification and Check-In purposes.

4. How to Book and Pay. There are several ways - via internet, SMS booking, Call Centre, Air Asia Airport counters, Air Asia's travel agents, Air Asia sales centre. Payment methods as below:

Getting to LCCT

One of the cheapest way to get to LCCT terminal is by using the Skybus shuttle service at only RM9 per person per way or Aerobus shuttle at the same price but at only RM6 per person if travelling from LCCT back to KLSentral . The travel time from KLSentral (basement) to LCCT is approx. 1hr15min. Have a look at the skybus website for the time schedules or Aerobus webpage. LCCT Terminal

The LCCT or Low Cost Carrier Terminal is located about 15mins drive from KLIA towards the MASKargo area. Have a look at the LCCT terminal website for location map, outlets etc. Many of the food outlets like MacDonalds are open 24hours so the early morning flight passengers can grab a coffee and bun after check in.
