Day 1 Meet and pick up from Sandakan Airport (preferably 1st flight) or hotel transfer to the jetty. At 0930hrs, boat departs to Turtle Island. It takes about an hour to reach Selingan Turtle Island which lies 40km north of Sandakan in the Sulu Sea off Sabah‟s east coast. Selingan Turtle Island is the main nesting area for the green turtles. After lunch is free at leisure ideal for relaxing, swimming and snorkeling. After dinner prepare to wait for the Park Ranger to inform of the sighting of a turtle laying eggs. Witness the collecting of eggs from the nesting site, planting them in the hatchery and see baby turtles scrambling to the open sea upon released on the shore. Overnight at Selingan Turtle Island Chalet. Meals: Lunch and Dinner Day 2 After breakfast depart at 0700hrs, return to Sandakan. Proceed to the world famous Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre situated in the Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve. Watch the video show documentary rehabilitation at orphaned Orang Utan before taking a boardwalk through the lowland rainforest to view the feeding platform. Witness the feeding of Orang Utan at 1000hrs. Thereafter to Kinabatangan River known as one of the world‟s richest ecosystems and the largest concentration of wildlife in South East Asian region until arrive to Kampung Bilit Jetty. Take a boat transfer to Bilit Rainforest Lodge. Welcome drink, short briefing and check-in. Lunch served at Bilit Rainforest Lodge Restaurant. At 1600hrs join a river cruise in search of Proboscis monkeys, birds, and other wildlife along the river bank. Overnight at Bilit Rainforest Lodge. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Day 3 Early morning, wake up to the calls of gibbons, hornbills and witness the morning rising of the sun. Join a morning cruise for bird watching. Jungle walk along the trail then cruise back. Return to lodge for late breakfast. Free at leisure. Afternoon lunch served at Bilit Rainforest Lodge Restaurant. At 1600hrs join a river cruise in search of more species primates and wildlife along the Kinabatangan River bank. Overnight at Bilit Rainforest Lodge. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Day 4 After breakfast, proceed to Gomantong Cave located in the heartland of the Gomantong Forest Reserve. Explore the biggest bird‟s nest cave in Sabah and „the best-managed edible birds‟ nest in the world. Continue the journey to City Tour visit Puh Jih Syh Buddhist Temple which offers a panoramic view of Sandakan Bay situated on the hilltop Tanah Merah. Sandakan Central Market, the most amazing variety of fresh seafood and agricultural products. The Sim-Sim Water Village where houses are all built close to the water surface while observing the fascinating view of the sea. Continue the tour to Agnes Keith House. The book Land Below the Wind and White Man Returns were written in the house and today the house turned into a heritage house providing interesting insight to life during British North Borneo. After lunch transfer to Sabah Hotel for check-in. Overnight at Sabah Hotel (4 star). Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Day 5 After breakfast at Sabah Hotel transfer to Sandakan Airport.
