DAY ONE |
Meet and great upon arrival Mulu Airport and transfer to Royal Mulu Resort for check in. Afternoon, meet at resort lobby and transfer to Mulu National Park headquarters. Upon registration and proceed on plank walk for 3 Km to reach Deer Cave & Lang Cave. After exploring the caves, proceed to bats observatory to observe bats flying out of caves entrance at late evening (Only confine to fine weather). Return journey on the same plank walk to park headquarters and transfer back to resort. Dinner with cultural show performance & overnight at resort. Dinner at Royal Mulu Resort |
DAY TWO |
Breakfast at resort and transfer by longboat proceed to Batu Bungan – Penan Settlement, to observe the tribe lifestyle and to select handicrafts on display for sale at Penan Settlement. Continue journey by longboat to Wind Cave and Clearwater Cave. Picnic lunch at Clearwater summer huts and later on you can enjoy swimming at Clearwater spring. Late afternoon return transfer by longboat to resort. Dinner & overnight at resort. Breakfast at Royal Mulu Resort; Picnic lunch at Clearwater Summer Hut; Dinner at Royal Mulu Resort |
DAY THREE |
Breakfast at resort & transfer to Mulu airport morning flight departure. Arrive Miri airport, meet & greet by our guide and transfer by 4WD to Loagan Bunut National Park. After 1 ½ hour drive, take a short break at Lapok Bridge. Then we continue our journey to Loagan Bunut for another 1 ½ hour. Upon arrival Loagan Bunut, check in at the park accommodation. After lunch, go for a short trek along the nature trail and also a lake cruise to witness the rare bird life in the park, observe other wildlife, flora and enjoy the scenic environment. When in season, you have a chance to observe the unique ‘Selambau’ fishing technique by the Berawan tribe. Late evening return to the park HQ. Overnight at Loagan Bunut National Park. DAY FOUR |
After breakfast, we go for a boat cruise along Bunut River in search for wildlife and fishing. Free at your own leisure. Return to the park HQ and ready back to Miri. Breakfast & Lunch ~TOUR END~ |
