Meet at the main entrance to Batu Caves temple. You will then be led to Gua Damai. It is not easy to located Gua Damai with housing estates fronting the rock cliff and many twists and turns through alleyways to get there. |

Destination Gua Damai - Batu Caves - Selangor

Tour Commences from Batu Caves temple
adventure description Gua Damai is a vertical limestone rock cliff with slight overhangs and a cave entrance some 50m above ground. This is a good spot to start for beginners as there are easy climbs with lots of hand holds. For beginners, the instructor will set up the climb up to 20 - 30 feet. Climbers will make the ascend while friends will be taught to belay on the ground. Once the climber has made the climb, then the position will be reversed and the one belaying will make the climb
Trip Duration and Equipment Trip will last from 9.00 am all through till 5.00pm
What to bring Straw mats to sit or rest, a pair of gym shoes or trainers, a sweat towel, change of t-shirt, hat, sunglasses
What to Wear Wear tight fitting tops and lose fitting pants. Tight fitting tops ensure that sleeves etc will not be snagged when climbing. Bring along your gym shoes or trainers and make sure they are not bulky, clompy shoes.
Others There is a coffee shop nearby selling cold drinks and hot food or currypuffs etc. Also available are public toilets nearby ![]()
