Cancellation Policy:
journeymalaysia (or our supplier partners) reserves the right to cancel these tours in the event of adverse weather conditions or in any circumstances beyond our control that are deemed unsafe. Guests will not be entitled to a refund should cancellation of these tours occur. However, where possible, every effort will be made to substitute any cancelled tour with an alternative tour.
3 Days 2 Nights Papar Homestay Itinerary |
Day 01 |
Drive approximately 45 minutes past scenic paddy fields to Kampung Papaga, Papar. Take a walk around the village and have fun plucking fruits (seasonal). After a traditional lunch, your host family will teach you how to make 'sago' pancake. In the evening, proceed for a buffalo ride and if weather permits, visit the nearby beach to watch the sunset. Return to host family house for overnight.(Lunch/Dinner) |
Day 2 |
After breakfast visit a nearby rubber estate. Test your skills at rubber tapping and walk along a suspension bridge. Witness the “Sago” processing steps and later on conquer your fear with a sago grubs “fear factor” challenge. Participate in the tree planting activity with the host family. Take part in the traditional cooking lesson conducted by the local chef (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) |
Day 3 |
Breakfast with host family before bidding them farewell. (Breakfast) Please bring along sun block lotion, personal toiletries, insect repellent, hat, walking shoes, sandal, drinking water bottle, swimming attire and towel. |

The company accepts no responsibility for losses or expenses incurred due to delay, sickness, weather, strikes, war or other causes. Such losses and expenses shall be the responsibility of the traveller.
Postponements of Trip:
* Please be advised that the trip will not be allowed to be postponed unless we are advised of any changes at least 3 working days before trip commencement date
