Tour Description:

Cherating Village & Kuantan Town Tour

Kuantan the capital of Pahang and the largest state in Peninsula Malaysia, offers the visitors to experience a laid – back life style that is rich in traditional & cultural activities. Cherating Village. Here life is “laid back” with seaside folk engaged with handicrafts. At the Pandanus Weaving Centre admire the local grass craft, which have been artfully woven into hats, handbags, and tablemats. Then, we shall visit the Batik Workshop to see how hand-painted batik is created. Drive to Beserah fishing Village and witness the process of preparing salted fish ) a local delicacy). Fresh catches, are also sold at the Jetty. If in luck, witness how the village folks use water buffaloes to ferry their catches to the processing area. A short drive away is located a beach with black rocks, which are of volcanic Lava origin (There are no Volcano in Malaysia) Hence it’s called “Black Rock Beach. “From there we’ll proceed to Tanjung Api Fishing Jetty. This will be a photo shop. Here you will be able to capture photos of life at a local fishing village. After the photo shop, you will be taken on a scenic drive of the Residential Suburbs where you will have the opportunity to see the Regent and Chief Minister’s residence as we head towards Teluk Chempedak. Here you will find many local stalls selling all kinds of Handicraft and local food. You can either enjoy some fast food, shopping, walk on beach or go to the nearby Hyatt Regency to just enjoy a drink (optional) and take a stroll by the beach.

Pekan Royal Town Tour

Journey to Pulau Keladi Pekan a small island close to the riverpark in Pekan and continued to Kuala Tanjung, where a fishing village is located near a estuary of the Pahang River. As you approach the Royal Town of Pekan, plenty shop houses line the street of the town. Its offer colorful display of the cultural and historical heritage of Pahang. View thesurrounding of the Royal Palace, home of the Sultan Pahang, Polo Field, the Royal Stabel , the State Museum, Watercraft Gallery and Silk Weaving Center.

Elephant Sanctuary, Kuala Gandah Tour

Drive West for 3 hours to a small town called Lanchang. Turning northwards, another 20 minutes, we’ll reach Deerland, the Deer farm, here at you can participate in feeding the deer, beside the deer, they have Ostrich and Honey Bear, Phyton. From here later we will proceed to the Elephant Sanctuary in Kuala Gandah. There, you can observe the Asian Elephant habitat, their feeding habits and also ride the Elephants. Please bring along extra wears, if your game enough to take a dip in the river with the Elephants when they are taking their bath to cool off.

Sungei Lembing Tour

Sungai Lembing Town is situated North –West from Kuantan, an hour drive to reach there.

Once famous for it’s tin mines and the most talked about in being the largest underground tin mine in the world, Sungai Lembing today has become a township only with the “diehard”.

Sungai Lembing ( the cowboy town) and now the town has been modified into a new look for tourists spots. Visit the old market square; see the Chinese clan houses and surrounding. Pop into a home bakery, still using wood-fired ovens for making buns, coconut biscuits ,cakes and “coffee-croutons”.

Explore this quaint town, see how the locals still used the high hanging bridges to cross the Lembing River during the rainy season and the Tin-Mine Museum which houses the equipments used, tin samples and display of the network of tunnels spreading over 785 kilometers underground.

Lake Chini Tour

Lake Chini is one of the only two natural Lakes in Peninsula Malaysia, both of which are located in the state of Pahang. Located approximately 100km from Kuantan town, Lake Chini lies majestically among 12,000 acres of lush tropical wilderness.It is Malaysia’s second largest natural lake and is made up of a series of 12 Lakes. With its well-known myths, the Lake has attracted many visitors from various destinations. Legend has it that a mythical dragon lives in the lake and is the guardian of a lost city of gold, which was once situated at the lake.Enjoy a Boat Ride through a narrow river canopied by huge Tropical Rainforest Trees. The Lotus Flowers and the Water lily’s greet you are you reach the first lake.On the banks of the lake live the Jakun people – an Aboriginal Tribe who also believe that a serpent Naga Seri Gumum (Loch Ness Monster) is the spirit and guardian of the Lake. Visit an Aboriginal Settlement and observe how a blowpipe, which is their main hunting weapon.

Turtle Watching Tour (May till September only)

Every year from May to September the green turtle will turn up in Chendor Beach to lay their eggs here. The turtles come from the deep ocean to the same place and they lay their eggs between 80 to 120 eggs. They will crawl up from the sea and dig a hole after laying the eggs they will cover the hole again. The beach here is patrolled by the enforcement officer from the Fisheries Department, their job is to make sure the eggs are collected and placed in the fenced area so the eggs will be safe from predators.

Panching Cave & Pandan Waterfall Exploration Tour

Panching Cave, also knows as Gua Charah, lies 25 kilometers west of Kuantan. The cave is a Buddhist sanctuary - house a huge statue of the reclining Buddha and other smaller dedicated statues. All these are located in the intricate of the flower chambers, where the largest the top offers you a panoramic view of the surrounding area. As you hike up the cave, you would more smaller and cavities which is typical of a limestone cave. A natural opening in the rooftop of the cave allows sunlight to penetrates, illuminating the Buddha Statue for the certain parts of the day. From here we will proceed to the Pandan Waterfall where you can take refreshing dip in the natural pool.
